A chance happening on a Saturday night became the catalyst for the beginning of one of the most diverse bands in Cumberland. Aaron Kerr's previous band had split up and he had resumed running sound for other local bands to keep in the local music scene. A guest vocalist came up and sang while he was running sound. Blown away by the soaring vocals, Aaron knew his next band would be formed around this powerhouse voice, Angie Montgomery.
Aaron and Angie got together in May of 2009 and began to figure out a band line up. Angie brought in friend, Dave Green, to play drums, while Aaron brought in a former band mate bass player to form the beginning of Lady Invidia. Over the years there has been a few line up changes, and the band has added 3 new members. The musical talent and energy of John Gauthier on Keys, rhythm guitar and vocals. Also, on drums the talented beat keeper Mark Gauthier (John's younger Brother!) On bass, we would like to introduce the low end master Greg Goss. With band members spanning across two generations and a genre range that spans four, the line up is complete. Known for an ever increasing set list and dynamic live shows, Lady Invidia is ready to take their show to the next level, playing bigger venues, and working on original music.
